Please continue to support the Richard Deptford Memorial Trophy Fund.
Our target is £200 and we're not quite there yet!
The Committee felt it would be appropriate to purchase a trophy in memory of Mr Richard Deptford of the Gems Stud, who sadly passed away in 2016. Dick was a great supporter of the association for many years and on a couple of occasions was Chairperson. He was a breeder of many good cobs, putting great effort into selecting only the best of bloodlines. Over the years Gems Stud enjoyed much success in the show ring and effectively put the breeding of welsh cobs in the NE of Scotland firmly on the map. Gems cobs continue to fly the flag not only here in Scotland but throughout the UK. The committee are looking to raise £200 and are seeking donations to the fund. If you would like to donate please be kind enough to send a cheque made payable to NSWPCA to The Secretary, Granite Croft, New Byth, Turriff. AB53 5XQ or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements to donate by bank transfer. Thank you

The core aim of the NSWPCA is to promote all sections of the stud book and to support the objectives of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society here in the North of Scotland. To encourage members to support shows, events and sales of the welsh breed and to promote the welfare of horses and ponies generally, including responsible breeding.
The association holds 3 shows a year, Spring, Summer and Winter which are open to both members and non-members. We award fabulous rosettes, sashes and trophies and our summer show is a bronze medal show. NSWPCA members receive discounted entry fees to all our shows/events and new members are always very welcome. If you would like to join please, visit our membership page. . To promote the true versatility of the breed, we run a Performance & Showing Points Scheme which is free to members. For more information and to download a form click here
