The core aim of the NSWPCA is to promote all sections of the stud book and to support the objectives of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society here in the North of Scotland. To encourage members to support shows, events and sales of the welsh breed and to promote the welfare of horses and ponies generally, including responsible breeding. 

The association holds 3 shows a year, Spring, Summer and Winter which are open to both members and non-members. We run classes for all - not just welsh! Our summer show is affiliated to the WPCS, SPSBS, TSR and NPS Scotland with qualifiers for the National Welsh, Blair, TSR and Caledonian Championships. We award fabulous rosettes, sashes and trophies and our summer show is a bronze medal show. NSWPCA members receive discounted entry fees to all our shows/events and new members are always very welcome. If you would like to join please, visit our membership page.
